“I can pinpoint when I started playing professionally very easily, because in 1985, when I was 12, I got a job playing in a Top 40 band out at Disneyland. I had to join the musician's union. I started getting paid to play the drums and having to pay taxes on that money. So I've paid taxes every year since I was 12 from drumming income.”
