“When I was in the ninth grade, I was about 5-foot-9, 5-foot-10. And then all of a sudden, during the summer before my sophomore year, I grew to around 6-foot-3. My knees started to ache. I couldn't run. I went to see the doctor and they told me it was part of a growth spurt. It lasted for a couple of months.”
