“That is all that we want, what people want, what people want in New York, in Washington, in Pittsburgh, in any other place in the United States or in Europe. People want to live peacefully. That's what we want.”

Israeli general and politician

Ariel Sharon was an Israeli general and politician, and served as prime minister of Israel from 2001 to 2006. He became a central figure in Israeli public life through both military command and politics. He is known for a long career that moved from the army into national leadership, with his name often linked to the highest level of Israeli government. The facts available here place him above all as a military and political leader, not as an author or performer.
