“My style changed when I started painting black women with my own dark skin color.”

“Do I consider my work to be specifically African art? Well yes... because I was born and brought up in Africa. I eat African food, drink African water, and you know, these are the things that made up who I am today. So basically my art is African art.”

“As an artist, I made my stamp by telling my TRUTH!"”

“I don’t want to just paint a picture. I want a picture that captures the soul. I want a picture that captures personality. These are the things I want people to see.”

“I do not paint dreams or nightmares, I paint my reality that tow the path of my truth!”
