Okezie Victor ikpeazu

“This is not news, it is laughable.”

“At times, a governor might have a civil service that is stereotyped or focused on old ways, not receptive to change, not willing to run at one's speed, and not willing to embrace 21st Century paradigms of development like digitisation and computerisation. It impacts on everything negatively.”

“Anybody who comes to leadership and starts by saying that everything that his predecessor is doing is bad is a lazy leader, because you must be able to see what is good and build on it if you have come in the interest of the people.”

“Governor Ikpeazu wishes to state that he is proudly carrying the cross of the governance of Abia State and will continue to carry it till his last day in office... as a personal policy, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will not join issues with any of his predecessors in office.”

“I bear no grudge against anyone. I harbour no ill feelings. My heart is full of gratitude. I have played my part, I have done my best.”

“All things considered, I leave office a fulfilled man. The son of a teacher and a nurse who rose to become Governor of Abia State and who did his best for his people. My story offers hope to all Abians. Remain diligent in your endeavours and there is no limit to the heights you can attain.”
