Odile Ahouanwanou

“Yeah, I think so. You know that at some point in sports, you have to stop even if you don't want to. You have to know how to go through the front door rather than the back door. Afterwards, you have to put the right things in place so that it looks what it should. But I'm not ready to retire yet. As soon as I see that I have to stop, I'll do it. But I'm already”

“The Olympic scholarship is always welcome. You know this well, or perhaps less so, but in France, life is much more expensive. This means that the Olympic scholarship doesn't cover all my expenses, but a large part nonetheless. Yes, the Olympic scholarship is important for my preparation, but it's not enough. It's still a significant part.”

“At the moment, no, I'm not yet qualified because you either have to qualify through my direct performances, my performances, or by being well ranked in the rankings. For the moment, I haven't yet had a great performance that will qualify me. And in the rankings, I'm not yet qualified. It would be following my various competitions that will mean that in the rankings, I'll be ranked much higher. So at the moment, no, Odile is not qualified. I'm on the right track in any case to be qualified.”

“Yeah, I'm motivated. Because first of all, I play high-level sport. I don't want to disappoint my parents, who gave me the opportunity to do it, nor my country, nor my coach, who has been training me for 10 years, nor my staff. I know there are teams that follow me and encourage me. So this is my way of saying thank you. That's where I draw my determination.”
