“In our situation, one cannot share the Good News in a managerial way. The evangelizer and the church have to be sacramental signs of faith. We must embody in our lives the Beatitudes. In a religious Asia, people of other faiths value the Beatitudes. Those sent on missions must embody the values of the Beatitudes. People spontaneously recognize the message in the messenger. Life of witness is a spirituality.”
