Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh

“The allegations of harassment leveled at the wrestling federation chief and for the wrestlers of the country to sit in protest at the Jantar Mantar is extremely shameful. Such people should be immediately arrested and put behind bars; he spews nonsense every day about mothers, sisters and daughters. This is an extremely condemnable evil act, a sin.”

“I have known Brij Bhushan since he was a student in Ayodhya’s Saket College. He was good in studies, played a prominent role in Ram temple movement and ever since been a darling of saints. I don’t know who is behind these allegations, but to me it appears this could be some kind of conspiracy against him.”

“I am ready to accept any punishment. If a single allegation against me is proven, I will hang myself.”

“This boy came over to the stage and urged to take part in the championship while he was found guilty of age fraud. I didn't allow him and politely told him to go down from the stage as we already disqualified 5 more wrestlers who were found guilty of doing age fraud and all they belong from UP, not only from UP, I didn't allow any player who is over age whether he belongs from Delhi, Haryana or any state, If I start doing this on basis of states then I can't develop wrestling in country.”

“Mayawati ji at a rally in Gonda called me a 'gunda'. I would like to say that she is the 'gundi' of Uttar Pradesh. She threatened to throw me into jail after elections when in fact it is she who will go behind the bars.”

“I am not convicted in any of the cases so far, I don't care what people say or write, if there is any law which still prevents me from going, then I will not go.”
