““I bought the mare when she was 3 years old, and now, after 7 years, I’ve managed to bring her up to the level of her sister.””

““Equestrianism has given great meaning to my life. Horses are everything to me—I can’t see myself without them. I truly couldn’t imagine my life without them. They’ve taught me to be humble; in sports, today you might be at the top, and tomorrow not anymore. Without the horse, we are nothing.””

““In eventing, I’ve come to understand over time, you need to have a special connection with your horse. During cross-country, you're constantly facing risk and intense adrenaline. It also shapes the rider—both internally and technically—like no other equestrian discipline, since you’re dealing with three different tests with the same horse.””
